The Central Virginia Foodbank (CVFB) feeds the elderly, children, the unemployed, the “working poor”, victims of disaster, the sick, and those in crisis through more than 500 partner agencies. These agencies consist of church pantries, senior centers, day care providers, emergency shelters, our Kids Cafes, and more.

Special Love, Inc. is a Mid–Atlantic charity that provides fun, camp–based events for families of children with cancer. Special Love provides not only fun and relaxation, but also an introduction to a network of support made up of other families whose children are undergoing, or have undergone, cancer treatment.

Richmond Shakespeare produces the summertime Richmond Shakespeare Festival, a season of live plays at Agecroft Hall, a home Shakespeare and his company may have toured 400 years ago. The building once stood in England—when the Bard was alive! It was moved across the Atlantic to Richmond, Virginia in the 1920's.
